Absolutely fantastic tournament player, as coming 3rd in the cardplayer's player of the year is an outstanding achievement. What really appeals about John Juanda is his fantastic demeanour and how he never talks down to opponents or criticises their plays, unlike some people (Mike "the mouth" and Josh Arieh).
