New to this game.. I know you have to use two crds from your hand along with three from the flop. So the board read AATT2

I had an A48Q the suit didn't matter in this hand. I was also big blind.


So I had an ace thinking I have trips. The hand was paid to a person with pocket jacks. Meaning aces over jacks won the pot. How come my ace didn't count as trip ?

Either this is a joke or you got jerked.
